Cooking with Letizia
"Alla Madonna Del Piatto"


For a very special half day, your host Letizia can share with you her culinary experiences first hand. Taste the delicious local specialities of Umbria – cheeses, prosciutto, wild bore sausages, and salami.

Together you will prepare a scrumptious regional meal using the best, fresh ingredients, some of them taken directly from Letizia’s garden! Most of the ingredients you will easily find back home, and the meals are easy to prepare, so the cooking class is especially suitable for people of all skill levels.

This is a real hands-on lesson for everyone. Afterwards you will sit around the table and enjoy your “masterpieces” together with a wonderful local wine and great conversation! Letizia will give you suggestions on the best places to buy wine and other delicacies to bring home.

Courses can also be arranged for advanced cooks or people who want to try particular ingredients or learn special techniques. Normal courses have a duration of one half day, but longer courses are available on request.

Recipes will be provided in English and a professional “Alla Madonna del Piatto” apron will be given to each participant.
