Finding the right property and booking your accommodation are very simple using Italian Welcome.
All you have to do is follow our easy 4-step process:

Step 1 -- Search:
Find the perfect property for you based on type of accommodation, location, and price.

Submit a no-obligation request for availability which goes directly to the
property you've chosen.

The property responds to your availability request which you can review
directly from within the Italian Welcome web site.

Review the Terms & Conditions to finalize your booking. Receive your
confirmation, and you're all set!

Step 1 -- Searching for Properties
Click the "Properties, Pricing & Availability" link (or click here) to review the properties available through Italian Welcome at this time (this list will continue to grow). You will see list of properties and some brief details for each. Click on any of the properties to see complete details, photos, amenities, attractions, etc. or check prices and request availability for specific travel requirements. Please note that the prices on the Italian Welcome site are always up to date and are the same prices (or lower) than what you will find at other travel services or at the property itself.
Step 2 -- Requesting Availability
Once you have performed a search and have chosen one or more properties you may submit a no-obligation request for availability by clicking a property in the search results and choosing the Request Availability link on the property's detail screen. In your availability request you enter basic contact information, select one or more accommodation room types and enter the number of nights, number of adults/children, and check-in date. No payment information is necessary at this point. This is simply an informal no-obligation request for availability.
If you have any special requests, such a crib, or a room with a bathtub instead of shower, etc., you may note these in the Comments/Notes box on the availability request form.
Once you submit your availability request, you are shown a summary screen with a total price for your request. Please note that, although we make every effort to assure that the prices are accurate, the prices shown at this point are estimates only and are therefore subject to change. Your request is immediately submitted to the property and they will determine availability and/or special requests. You will receive an email summarizing your request that will also include a transaction ID and a special link to the Italian Welcome site that you can use to check the status of your transaction at any time.
Step 3 - Property's response to your availability request
You will receive an email from Italian Welcome which will include a link to allow you to view the property's response to your request, using your transaction ID and e-mail address. The property will respond through the Italian Welcome site with a yes or no, or they and may also add some notes of their own for you, the customer. For example, they may say that your requested days are not available but the same room is available the following week, or they may also respond to the special requests of the customer which you had noted in the Comments/Notes box. Normally you should receive a response from Italian Welcome within 12 hours.
At this point there is still no commitment by you or the property, and no payment information has been collected. Step 4 explains how to book your accommodation once the terms of the transaction are satisfactory to you.
Step 4 -- Booking your accommodation
When you have the property's positive response to your availability request, you are ready to book your accommodation. You may do this directly from the transaction status screen which you can view by clicking the link in the email you received from Italian Welcome or by clicking the "Book Your Accommodation" link on the Italian Welcome site and entering your transaction ID and email address.
Since Italian Welcome already has your contact information and the details of your accommodation, you need only to confirm the
Terms & Conditions for the property to request the booking. Italian Welcome does not collect your payment
information. The property will respond to you directly, and will provide their down payment policy and their acceptable
form(s) of payment.
You may print the confirmation screen as your receipt and you will also receive a confirmation email from Italian Welcome.
